ITINERARY
DAY 1. SUNDAY
On arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel of your choice in Cairo for overnight. BB.
DAY 2. MONDAY
Following breakfast, enjoy a full day of sightseeing which will take you to visit the Great Pyramids at Giza, the Sphinx, Memphis and Sakkara. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant. Overnight in Cairo. BB + L.
DAY 3. TUESDAY
Today’s sightseeing includes the famous Egyptian Museum, the Citadel, Mohamed Ali Mosque, Old Cairo, the Hanging Church, Ben Ezna Synagogue and Khan El Khalili bazaars. Overnight in Cairo. BB.
DAY 4. WEDNESDAY
This morning you will fly to Luxor for the start of your cruise. You will sail to Kena, with lunch on board on the way. Afternoon tea will be served on board followed by a dancing show and dinner. Overnight in Kena. BB + L + D.
 DAY 5. THURSDAY
Breakfast on board followed by a visit to the Temple of Denderah and Abydos by bus. Lunch will be taken on board and you will sail down the Nile to Luxor. On board you will take afternoon tea and will be invited for a Captain’s welcome cocktail. Dinner will be served on board and overnight will be spent on board. BB + L + D.
DAY 6. FRIDAY
Breakfast is served on board. This morning is at leisure for relaxation. Lunch will be served on board followed by a visit to the East Bank to see Karnak and Luxor Temples, reputed to be amongst some of Egypt’s most spectacular relics. Afternoon tea and dinner will be taken on board . Overnight on board. BB + L + D.
DAY 7. SATURDAY
Breakfast is served on board. Today you will go on a tour to visit the West Bank including the Valley of Kings, Valley of the Queens, Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir El Bahari & Collossi of Memnon. Lunch on board. Sail to Edfu; dinner and overnight. BB + L + D.
DAY 8. SUNDAY
Breakfast on board. Today you will visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu which is recognised as one of the best preserved Temples in Egypt; lunch on board. Sail to Kom Ombo to visit the Temple - shared by the two Gods Sobek and Haroeis – which is situated on a hill overlooking the Nile, 45 kms north of Aswan. Afternoon tea and dinner on board plus a Galabaya party. Overnight on board in Kom Ombo. BB + L + D.
DAY 9. MONDAY
Breakfast on board. Today you sail to Aswan, recognised as one of the main gateways to Africa. Lunch will served on board followed by a visit to the Botanical Gardens by felucca (sailing boat). Afternoon tea, dinner and overnight on board in Aswan. BB + L + D
DAY 10. TUESDAY
Breakfast on board. Today you visit the High Dam which was built to store the flood waters of the Nile and thereby preventing the annual flooding. Next, visit the unfinished obelisk and Philae Temple, ending with an overnight in an hotel in Aswan. BB.
DAY 11. WEDNESDAY
After breakfast, you fly to Abu Simbel to visit the famous temples. At the end of the visit you will fly to Cairo for your last night in Egypt. Overnight in Cairo. BB.
DAY 12. THURSDAY
Following breakfast, transfer from your hotel to Cairo Airport for your return flight to London.Not suitable for children under 12 years old.
