Location
The Movenpick El Gouna is located on the shores of the Red Sea, overlooking the lagoon and just a short distance from El Gouna's main facilities.
El Gouna is a uniquely designed resort, built on and around small islands and lagoons, leading it to be likened to 'Venice on the Red Sea', and is approximately 30 minutes from Hurghada airport. Featuring a variety of in-resort activities on land and water including a championship 18 hole golf course, a marina, range of shops and variety of options for dining and nightlife, El Gouna offers a peaceful yet varied holiday.
You can also visit Luxor or experience the wilderness of the desert on a camel, quad bike or sand buggy.

Rooms
The Movenpick El Gouna features 554 air-conditioned rooms, all with balcony or terrace, and sea, lagoon or garden view plus satellite TV with radio channel, telephone, mini bar and hairdryer.
Guests booking a deluxe room additionally will receive tea & coffee facilities, safe, bathrobe, slippers, fruit basket and mineral water upon arrival. Family rooms are also available, and offer an additional two beds on an upper level.

The Movenpick El Gouna offers 4 freshwater swimming pools (3 heated in winter) and 3 children’s pools plus a water sports and diving centre with various activities (pay locally). Other leisure facilities include squash, table tennis and floodlit tennis courts (all payable locally). The health club (pay locally for all facilities apart from the gymnasium) includes a gymnasium, jacuzzi, massage, sauna and steam bath, as well as the Angsana Spa, which includes 12 treatment rooms and a comprehensive range of massage options (pay locally for treatments). An 18-hole international golf course is close to the Hotel (pay locally). |

Restaurant opening hours are subject to seasonal changes. Fresh juices, imported soft and alcoholic beverages, spirits and cocktails are not included in the all-inclusive programme. Orders cannot be used for consumption outside of the restaurants.

Diving Guests staying at the Movenpick El Gouna can dive with our chosen dive centre partner in El Gouna, Dive Tribe - conveniently located at the Movenpick. Dive Tribe offers a range of packages and courses for beginners and qualified divers, as well as a variety of watersports. El Gouna is the perfect base for wreck diving, with the famed Abu Nuhas 'ship graveyard' an hour and a half away by boat.
Snorkelling There are good snorkelling opportunities from the beach near the dive centre, with a reef easily accessible from the shore. Equipment can be hired on the beach. Alternatively, guests may choose to visit the islands of Tawila and Gubal, or various other snorkelling sites, on a boat day trip with Dive Tribe. |
