Our Opinion
A comfortable hotel with an Oriental flavour, the recently renovated Dawar El Omda is awash with local textures and elements, and is ideally located for downtown El Gouna. |

Location
The Dawar El Omda is located in the centre of downtown El Gouna, near to shops, restaurants and bars.
El Gouna is a uniquely designed resort, built on and around small islands and lagoons, leading it to be likened to 'Venice on the Red Sea', and is approximately 30 minutes from Hurghada airport. Featuring a variety of in-resort activities on land and water including a championship 18 hole golf course, a marina, range of shops and variety of options for dining and nightlife, El Gouna offers a peaceful yet varied holiday.
You can also visit Luxor or experience the wilderness of the desert on a camel, quad bike or sand buggy.

Upgrade to all-inclusive, and receive the following package:
- 3 meals a day served buffet style in the main restaurant;
breakfast (7am-10am), lunch (12.30pm-2.30pm) & dinner (6.30pm-10pm). A light lunch is also available at the beach bar.
- Afternoon tea (4.30pm-5.30pm) served at the Pool bar.
- A selection of soft drinks, local beer, local wine and local spirits available within the Hotel (11am - midnight). Soft drinks are also served at Zeytouna beach (11am-5pm).
All drinks are served by the glass. Turkish coffee and all cocktails are not included in the All Inclusive package and therefore charged as extras. Restaurant opening times are subject to seasonal changes. |

Any visit to the Red Sea wouldn't be complete without discovering the incredible variety of life and colour beneath the waves. Learn to dive in the Red Sea, or snorkel on some of the world's best reefs.
Diving Guests staying at the Dawar El Omda El Gouna can dive with our chosen dive centre partner in El Gouna, Dive Tribe, who provide transfers from the hotel to the dive centre and back. Dive Tribe offers a range of packages and courses for beginners and qualified divers, as well as a variety of watersports. El Gouna is the perfect base for wreck diving, with the famed Abu Nuhas 'ship graveyard' an hour and a half away by boat.
Snorkelling There is no on-site snorkelling at the Dawar El Omda, but there are snorkelling opportunities from Zeytouna beach, accessible by courtesy shuttle boat. Equipment can be hired on the beach. Alternatively, guests may choose to visit the islands of Tawila and Gubal, or various other spectacular snorkelling sites, on a boat day trip with Dive Tribe. |
