Location
The Captain's Inn is ideally located overlooking Abu Tig Marina and close to El Gouna’s shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife.
El Gouna is a uniquely designed resort, built on and around small islands and lagoons, leading it to be likened to 'Venice on the Red Sea', and is approximately 30 minutes from Hurghada airport. Featuring a variety of in-resort activities on land and water including a championship 18 hole golf course, a marina, range of shops and variety of options for dining and nightlife, El Gouna offers a peaceful yet varied holiday.
You can also visit Luxor or experience the wilderness of the desert on a camel, quad bike or sand buggy. |

The Captain's Inn El Gouna features 41 air-conditioned guest rooms with mini bar, satellite TV and safe deposit box. Rooms either have a window or balcony, with some facing the marina and the sea. |

Main restaurant serving Continental style buffet breakfasts, plus an à la carte restaurant, beach restaurant and the Tide's bar & lounge. Pool and beach bars are also available. |

Any visit to the Red Sea wouldn't be complete without discovering the incredible variety of life and colour beneath the waves. Learn to dive in the Red Sea, or snorkel on some of the world's best reefs.
Diving Guests staying at the Captain's Inn El Gouna can dive with our chosen dive centre partner in El Gouna, Dive Tribe, who provide transfers from the hotel to the dive centre and back. Dive Tribe offers a range of packages and courses for beginners and qualified divers, as well as a variety of watersports. El Gouna is the perfect base for wreck diving, with the famed Abu Nuhas 'ship graveyard' an hour and a half away by boat.
Snorkelling There is no on-site snorkelling at the Captain's Inn, but there are snorkelling opportunities from Zeytouna beach, accessible by courtesy shuttle boat. Equipment can be hired on the beach. Alternatively, guests may choose to visit the islands of Tawila and Gubal, or various other snorkelling sites, on a boat day trip with Dive Tribe. |
