During this five day cruise, discover magnificent ancient Nubian temples along the shores of Lake Nasser. Once sited by the River Nile, these temples were rescued and rebuilt in the 1960’s by UNESCO in order to protect them from the rising water levels when the High Dam was built and Lake Nasser created.

The Omar Khayam is owned and operated by the prestigious Travelcotel cruise company and offers high standards of service and amenities. The 68 cabins, 8 suites and 4 royal suites are well-appointed featuring large panoramic windows opening on to a balcony with seating area. Facilities onboard include a spacious sun deck with swimming pool, Jacuzzi and pool bar, health club with gym, massage, sauna and steam room, a gift shop, laundry service, library and evening entertainment, plus a restaurant and two lounges with bars serving refreshing cocktails and drinks.
