If you have the budget for it, then you can purchase some genuine antiquities like statues and jars. However, you would have an easier time searching for and buying reproductions of antiques and furnishings that feature Egyptian motifs. Just keep in mind that the Egyptian décor you pick out should have warm, rich colours and elaborate designs.
For furniture, make sure that the pieces have bronze or gold leafing. The same thing goes for frames and artworks. Heavy materials like marble, stone, and solid wood are preferred, though you can also get copies made from lightweight resins that have faux finishes. The furniture you choose should feature interesting carvings, engravings, hand paintings, and decorative trimmings. Furthermore, most Egyptian-style furniture are not suitable for small interiors, so you need to choose a large room that can display all the objects properly.
